It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Constance "Connie" Deal, who left us peacefully on June 14, 2024 at the age of 76. Connie was born on March 13, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio to Bernard & Marie (Albertson) Kohnke. She was proceeded in death by her parents and multiple brothers and sisters in-law.

Connie was the cherished wife to Don Deal and mother of four children: Kim (Tom) Thorp, Todd (Jill) Deal, Keri (Jon) Walsh, and Troy (Anna) Deal. Her unwavering love and guidance shaped their lives and inspired them to become the people they are today. She was also the adored grandmother of fourteen grandchildren: Brittany (Shane), Tyler (Zach), Jordyn, Dylan, Derek, Carlee, Brody, Madison, Jack, Grace, Tarrah, Brant, Savannah, and Colton, each of whom holds precious memories of her warmth, wisdom, and generosity. Her legacy further extends to six great-grandchildren: Paisley, Sloan, Paxton, Baker, Oliver, and Ellianna, and baby number 7, Raevannah due in August, who brought her immense joy.

Connie retired from Lake Schools as a bus driver after 28 years in 2004. She had a love for animals, and flowers, but her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she supported throughout all of their sports and other extracurricular activities. She also loved snowmobiling and 4-wheeling with family and friends at their cabin in the U.P. as well as creating many memories at Fishers Lake. She was best known for her pot roast and delicious green cake, that never went to waste at family events.

She is survived by her husband, sister and brother in-law (Jean & Jon Baker), children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous brothers and sisters in-law who will continue to honor her memory by embodying the values she instilled in them. Her legacy of love and kindness will forever be a guiding light in their lives.

Friends and family may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd. Millbury, Ohio on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 2:00 p. m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Expressions of sympathy in Connie's name may be directed to Charity of Donor's Choice.
