Connie L. Peatee passed away in her home early Friday morning after battling a long illness. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Carl J. Peatee; her mother, Patricia Roper; Godmother, Betty Angela Tresso; son, Carl F. (Kasey) Peatee and their children, James and Andrew; daughter, Angela J. (Aaron) Murphy and their children, Emily, Madeline and Brendan; daughter, Laura Marie (Mark) Ostrander and their children, Mackenzie and Laney. Connie attended St. Stephen'™s Grade School and graduated from Waite HS Class of '™70. She attended nursing school, married and raised 3 children. Connie was devoted to her parish of Holy Rosary Church for over 25 years serving as pastoral minister. She was instrumental in many of their fundraisers, noodle making, bread baking and the famous spaghetti dinners until the closing of the church. Connie loved visiting the elderly and shut-ins until her deteriorating health precluded it. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with the family receiving friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, corner of Parkside and Victory in Toledo. Interment will be private. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Connie'™s memory are asked to consider the St. Louis Soup Kitchen.
