Corey Wilburn, 15 of Elmore , Ohio died very unexpectedly from an accident on Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Corey was born on May 3, 1993 in Toledo , Ohio to James and Dawn (Ross) Wilburn. Corey was a freshman at Woodmore High School where he had played football. In junior high school Corey wrestled and was the SLL 2008 Champ. In his spare time Corey enjoyed being in the great outdoors whether he was hunting or fishing. His hobbies also included collecting knives, weight lifting, playing video games and watching movies. In addition to his parents, Jim and Dawn, Corey is survived by his brother and sisters; Brandon (Jessica Weis), Erika (Corey Kaylor), Kristie (Derek Talmage), Molly; grandparents, Lucille Wilburn, Joe and Diana Ross; great grandmother, Laura Bowen; special nieces, Tori and Kelsey; godmothers, Mandy Johnson and Tiffany Turner; best friends, Dillon Vail, Courtney & Devon Gavorsky and many more. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins. Corey was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clarence Wilburn. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road , Millbury on Saturday and Sunday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at St. John United Church of Christ, 411. E. Rice Street , Elmore , Ohio where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in Elmore Union Cemetery .
