Courtney A. Derrer, 40, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 16, 1978. Courtney will be remembered for her beautiful smile, endless sense of humor, and love of fantasy books. Courtney never gave up in her battle with addiction and her love for her children and family knew no bounds. Courtney is survived by her mother, Sandra (William) Meyers; father, Kenneth (Karen) Maunz; children, Cailyn Horna, Alexandrea Derrer, Julia Derrer, Isabella Derrer, and Lucas Derrer; siblings, Kendra Maunz, Patrick (Angie) Meyers, Christopher (Abby) Maunz, Nicholas Papalcure, and Roseanne (Chris) Desko; uncle, Jeff Childress; along with many loving family members and friends. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 3:00 pm until time of funeral service at 7:00pm.
