Creed "Boots" Jackson, 73 of east Toledo, passed away at Promedica Toledo Hospital on March 16, 2022. He was born in Pruden, Tennessee on July 21, 1948 to Raymond and Gladys (Ward) Jackson. For many years he had his own drywall company working along side many family members. He then worked for the Carpenter's Local 351 in Rossford before retiring in July of 2018. Creed loved his family dearly, especially his wife and grandchildren. Surviving are his children, Claude (Jamie) Jackson and Robert (Sarah) Jackson; grandchildren; Charles, Zach, Keith, Alex, Dylan and Parker; siblings; Wayne (Dee) Jackson, Beverly Owens, Vivian (Harold) Lamb, Mildred (Archie) Buchanan & Helen (Jess) King. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda Jackson; parents; son; Henry, daughter; Angela and siblings, Claude, Henry, Raymond & Charles Jackson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 22, 2022 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon where his funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 23rd at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Wyldewood Baptist Church in Lambertville where his wife attended for many years.
