Creed E. Rollins Sr., 75, of Pemberville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023. He was born in Gastonia, North Carolina on March 2, 1948 to Lonzo and Blondell (Burnett) Rollins. Creed graduated from Hunter Huss High School and would later move up to the Toledo area and raise his family. He worked as a millwright at Walbridge Coatings for many years before retiring in 2013. In his earlier years he was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden. What he cherished most was his loving family who will miss him dearly.

Creed is survived by his children, Gene (Kimberly) Rollins, Creed (Sherri) Rollins Jr., Heather (Jon) Bae; grandchildren, Jeff Rollins, David Rollins, Kendra Rollins, Olivia Rollins, Taylor Rollins, Jonah Bae, Marah Bae; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Marshall ("Cookie") Rollins; and niece Kim Voncannon. He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Lonnie Rollins.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in Gastonia, North Carolina at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Toledo Humane Society.
