Cruz G Ruiz Sr., 85, of Toledo passed away Friday, October 20, 2006 in his home. Cruz was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on May 3, 1921 to Salvador and Josefina (Gallardo) Ruiz. Mr. Ruiz was employed by Doehler Jarvis, retiring in 1978. He also was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church.   Cruz is survived by his daughters, Mary (Enrique) Canales, Josephine Gartee, Alisia (Tony Navarro) Ruiz, Rita (Francisco Vasquez) Ruiz, and Isabel Kitty (Harold) Young ; sons, Abelino (Jeanne), Guadalupe (Maria), Pedro (Estella), Tony and Cruz (Nancy) Ruiz Jr.; brothers, Raimundo Dominguez, Tom Navarro, Abelino, Timio, Salvador, Santos, and George Ruiz; sister, Angelina Gonzalez and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Isabel.   Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Monday, October 23, 2006 from 2-9 p.m., where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.  Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. and proceed to Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 728 S. St. Clair, Toledo, Ohio for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.  Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Cruz's memory are asked to consider the Ruiz Family.  The family extends special thanks to Heartland Hospice for their compassion.
