Cynthia DeCant, 51, formerly of Oregon, OH passed away Sunday, February 23, 2003. She was born in Toledo, OH on November 7, 1951 to Norman and Arlene (Schwan) DeCant. She graduated from Clay H.S. and resided in Long Beach, CA for past 25 years. In her free time she enjoyed knitting and crafts. Surviving are her children, Kimberly, Holly, Shane and Jessica Butler; mother, Arlene DeCant; grandchildren, Kaylee, Austin, Jimmy, Kelsee, Shawn and Kevin; brothers, David, Gary (Sharon) and Jeffrey DeCant and several nieces and nephews. Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Norman; grandparents, Richard and Virginia DeCant and Arthur and Gretchen Schwan. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2003 at 3 pm in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd.
