Cynthia L. Hansen, 57, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013. Cindy was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 26, 1956 to Fred and Irene (Dieckmann) Ewersen. On October 10, 1986, she married Tom Hansen. Cindy received her Bachelors Degree in social work from the University of Toledo and worked with Suitably Attired, an agency which helped women obtain clothing and skills necessary for job interviews. She was an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, where she was involved with Teens Encounter Christ and many music ministries. Cindy was an avid reader, photographer and musician; especially singing and playing guitar. She will be remembered for her loving and caring spirit, and willingness to help those in need. Her true passion was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Cindy is survived by her husband; Tom; mother, Irene Ewersen; children, Nicole (Mikey) Deehr, Aaron Hansen, Nathan (Sam) Hansen and Julianne Hansen; grandchildren, Tom, Meredith, Sophia, and Molly; siblings, Marty (Kelly) Ewersen, Matt (Angie) Ewersen, Jamie (Janet) Ewersen, Todd (Julie) Ewersen, and Anne (Todd) Strasser; along with many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred and brother, Lyle Ewersen.
