Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Perkins, 63, of Curtice Ohio peacefully passed away in her sleep early on the morning on February 7, 2023. Cindy was born at Mercy Hospital in Toledo Ohio on April 25, 1959 to John and Anna Ross. The youngest of four children, Cindy had fond memories of spending time with her siblings Jeanette, Richard and John Jr. She graduated with honors from Cardinal Stritch High School in 1977. Cindy went on to study electrical engineering at The University of Toledo. While not studying, she worked at Pizza King in The Woodville Mall. It was there she met Dean, the love of her life. Upon graduation, she worked at Toledo Edison until she retired in 2017. Cindy and Dean were inseparable and were married on October 24, 1981. Together they could accomplish anything and the two of them spent 42 loving years together. In 1985 Cindy and Dean welcomed their first child, Sara followed by David in 1987. Cindy loved life. She was an avid quilter who loved to "dance" with her long arm quilting machine. Cindy and Dean enjoyed many hobbies together including beekeeping, gardening and camping. Her greatest love was for her 5 grandsons, Noah, Bradley, Levi, Thomas and John. She will be deeply missed by family, friends and her dog Rocky.
Cindy is survived by her husband Dean, their children Sara (Matt) Toflinski and David (Sarah) Perkins, and five grandsons. She is also survived by her sister Jeannette (Len) Pavuk and sisters in law Pat Ross, Willie Ross and Gloria Ross. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Richard Ross and John Ross.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The family will also greet friends on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 1105 N. Elliston Rd., Martin, OH, 43445 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
