D. MAE PAULY D. Mae Pauly, 85, of Toledo, OH passed away September 24, 2003 in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She was born January 9, 1918 to Carl and Alice (Dew) Murphy in Lake City, TN. Mae owned and operated Mae's Beauty Shop on Starr Ave. for 26 years. She enjoyed dancing, especially at Centennial Terrace, and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, James T. Pauly; daughter-in-law, Rev. Jeanette Rode; grandchildren, Denise Rode (Jeff) Schupe and Jill Rode; brothers-in-law, Roy Robbins and Walt Pauly; sisters-in-law, Rosemary (Norm) Spotts, Mary Ann (Jack) McQuillen and niece, Mary Alice (Dan) Mawer. Mae was preceded in death by her son, Doran Rode; brother, Paul Murphy; sister, Ruth Robbins; grandson, Daryl Rode and niece, Sharon Ortyl. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 2-5 & 6-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavely Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday, September 27, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. and proceed to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
