Dale Jack Berman, age 83 went to be with the Lord on Nov. 10, 2013. He was married for 64 years to Helen (Diamond) Berman with whom he was inseparable. He had two sons Glenn (Mary) and Dale (Jo Ellen), a daughter Terrilee (Rick) and a semi-adopted son David Ogburn. He had 7 Grandchildren, Cole, Stevie (Chris), Parker (Krista), Andrew, Rhett (Racheal), Tara (Halil), and Kristen. One Great grandchild Aubrie. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Anna Berman, bothers Richard (Betty), Melvin (Mary Lou) and Sister Caroline (Don Hecklinger). He was a graduate of Waite High School. Dale was born and grew up in Toledo before moving his family to south Florida (1961). After retiring in 1995, he moved to Augusta Georgia. Dale was an active member of the Elks (lodge 205) and the Exalted Leader from 1993-1995, (lodge 2407). He was a family man and loved by everyone he met. There will be a viewing on November 15, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Elk Lodge services beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, 440 South Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio. Services will be held Saturday, November 16, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home with interment at Lake Township Cemetery to follow.
