Dale A. Driftmeyer, 75 of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Dale was born in Oregon, Ohio on May 10, 1942 to Melvin and Ruth (Dahms) Driftmeyer. They preceded him in death as well as his step-mother, Violet Driftmeyer, and brother-in-laws Lee Suhrbier, and Paul Suhrbier. Dale was a beloved and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He had worked as a machine repairman at Kaiser Aluminum and P & A Industries. He loved going on family trips with his children and grandchildren, wood working, and enjoyed Civil War history. Dale was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Curtice, Ohio. Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Carolyn; children, David Driftmeyer and Amy Driftmeyer; grandchildren, David Jr., and Cora Driftmeyer; sister-in-law Bonnie (Jerry) Lentz. Private Family graveside services will be held at Lake Township Cemetery.
