Dameatrius J. McCreary, 5, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 24, 2005, at The Toledo Hospital. Dameatrius was born in Oregon, Ohio on May 22, 1999, to Sandra TenEyck. He was a kindergartner at Coy Elementary School. Dameatrius was an avid video game player. He also loved playing with his army toys, GI Joes, and helicopters. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Sandra TenEyck and Alvin Woodard; sisters, Breanna and Alysia; grandparents, Colleen Gamble, Shaun Barney; great-grandparents, James and Kathleen Gamble, Joyce TenEyck; great-great-grandparent, Doris Jeremy; aunts and uncles, Stephanie TenEyck, Samantha and Shannon Barney, Daniel Gamble, Erika, Jessica, Steven TenEyck; great aunts and uncles, Lynne Basden and Wayne Appenfelder, Kathy and Philip Utter, Patricia and Juan Dominguez; cousins, Amanda Gamble, Anthony Gonzales, Autumn and Juan Dominguez, Ashlee Rucker, Jessica Appenfelder. Many friends also survive Dameatrius. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Robert TenEyck and Fletcher McCreary and great-great-grandfather, Gilbert Jeremy. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Monday from 12-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. at the Oregon Church of the Nazarene, 2350 Starr Avenue where the family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
