Daniel Edwin Hartford, 63, of Oregon, Ohio, was carried to Heaven in the arms of Jesus on December 9, 2020 from St. Charles Hospital in Oregon. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 13, 1957 to Harold and Waneda (Elsea) Hartford. Daniel attended Fassett Middle School, where he exceled at wrestling. He also attended Clay High School. Daniel worked for Country Fresh as a delivery driver for 12 years, before retiring in 2005. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and enjoyed watching his grandchildrens' events. Daniel was the youngest of 8 siblings, was a neat freak and had a big personality. Daniel is survived by his children, William Hartford,Sarah Hartford, Daniel (Kristi) Pearson and Ashley Curtis; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews; siblings, Robert (Annabell) Hartford Sr., Edward Hartford Sr., Sandra Hartford Whetsel; sister-in-law, Margaret Hartford; special friend, Laurie Herrera; and special dog, Bernard. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Eleanor Hartford Cunningham, Harold "Fat" Hartford, Richard Hartford and Will L. Hartford. Funeral services will be private. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home is assisting his family with arrangements. His family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses in the ICU at St. Charles Hospital.
