Obituary

Dan W. Lupton Dan W. Lupton, 78, of Northwood passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. Dan was born in Ford City, Pennsylvania on October 4, 1924 to Wilbur and Eva (Wilson) Lupton. He was a W.W.II 2nd Army Veteran serving his country from 1943-1947. Dan had worked for Pure Oil Company prior to its closing. He retired from Chrysler Corporation where he was a fork lift operator. Dan was a member of First St. Mark Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the Christ Dunberger Post 537, Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2322, Loyal Order of Moose #713, UAW Retirees and a member of the Mending Hearts, Inc. Surviving is his daughter, Pam (Mike) Gallagher; granddaughters, Jodi (Mike) Hamilton, Mandi Gallagher, Candi Corley, grandson, Todd Moore; great grandsons Billy, Mikey, Andy, Jonathan; fiancee, Barbara Klotz. Dan was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia; daughter, Sandy Adams; brother, Don; sisters, Fern, Frances, Helen. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury where visitation will be Friday 2 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. Those wishing to make an expression in Dan's memory are asked to consider First St. Mark Lutheran Church or Christ Dunberger Post #537 or American Cancer Society.
