Daniel R. Maher, 23, of Fremont, Ohio, passed away Friday, September 24, 2004. He was born April 24, 1981, to Robert and Colleen (Edmonds) Maher. Dan was an avid dirt bike enthusiast, enjoyed singing and playing the electric guitar, and was a cat lover. He had many friends, a good heart and will be greatly missed by all. Dan will be especially remembered for his big smile and friendliness. Surviving are his parents, Robert and Colleen; siblings, Chris, Lee, Nick, and Bobby Maher; grandparents, Margaret and David Stewart, Phillip and Carol Maher; aunts and uncles, John (Glenda) Maher, Ron (Tracey) Maher, Sue (Bill) Back, Sharon (Mike) Jones, Cindy (Mike) Hallet, PJ Maher, Joan (Faris) Lowder, Al Edmonds, Mark (Diane) Edmonds and Dianne (Richard) Eddy. Dan was preceded in death by his brother, Luke, and grandfather, Robert Edmonds. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd., Millbury, Ohio, on Monday, September 27, 2004, from 2-9 p.m., where Scripture services will be held at 5 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday in St. Ann Catholic Church, 1021 W. State St., Fremont, Ohio, at 11:00 a.m. where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the Mass. Interment will follow in Lindsey Cemetery.
