Daniel Miranda Sr. of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully at his residence on

Wednesday, December 7, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Daniel was born in

Galveston, Texas on January 4, 1941 to Marino and Eulalia (Guillen) Miranda. He

had retired from General Motors after 38 years where he was a forklift operator/

oiler. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, gardening, camping,

watching old westerns and OSU/NFL football.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Magdalena; children, Daniel Jr.

(Hilda) Miranda, Lisa (Don) Copeland and Linda Miranda; grandchildren, Michael

(Melissa) Miranda, Danielle (Romeo) Taylor, Dominic (Savannah) Ketron, Sarah

Miranda, Alejandro Miranda, Bryce Copeland and great granddaughter Bailee

Miranda. Also surviving are his siblings: Petra Morales, Mary Salinas, Jesse

Miranda and Gloria Diaz. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and siblings;

Richard Miranda, Jose Miranda, Anita Miranda and Nora Padilla.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12 at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley

Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio from 2:00 pm until

8:00 pm where the recitation of the rosary will be held at 6:00pm. Mass of

Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 13 at 11:00 am at Epiphany of

the Lord St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 729 White Street, Toledo, Ohio,

where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the mass. Interment will

follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Those wishing to make an expression of

sympathy in Daniel's memory are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio or

the Victory Center.
