Danika Marie-Faye Veres, 3, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, December 25, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Toledo, Ohio May 26, 2020, to Michael Veres and Amanda Hayes. Dani lived every moment of her brief life to the fullest. She loved any activity like going to the park, being outside, playing with sidewalk chalk and playing with her many fishing poles. Dani enjoyed playing hide and seek, riding in her dad's truck and watching her favorite shows, Cocomelon and Paw Patrol. She was often found dancing and singing Kane Brown at the top of her lungs. Her dog Cooper and her cat Lucy as well as her favorite stuffies often accompanied her where she went. They were no match, however, for her favorite blue blanket she would never leave home without. Dani often used her charm to make one chicken nugget, taco or cookie turn into three! Dani's favorite thing was spending time with her family and her grandparents. She will be remembered for her million words, her beautiful smile, for always being happy, and for being a SUPER HERO. Danika was a shining light to her family and will be missed beyond measure.

Danika is survived by her loving parents, Michael Veres and Amanda Hayes; brothers, Jaidon and Donovon Abdo; grandparents, Tina and Steve Szymanski "Busia and Papa", Michael and Evelyn Veres "Guppy and Grammy"; Aunt, Wanda "Wee-Wee" Veres; Uncles, Christopher (Meladie Jones), Frank "Frankenstein" Veres, Jim (Alicia Weiss) Krueger; best friends and cousins, Mela Rose Veres and Cruz Diaz; and many other cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Daniel Hayes; great grandparents, Nana, and Frank and Betty Veres; Aunt Maggie Hayes.

The family will receive visitors at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
