Obituary

Danny S. Williams, 65, of Oregon, passed away on March 17, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born on May 12, 1947 to Archie and Gladys (Blasingim) Williams. Danny was a US Army Veteran stationed in Korea. He enjoyed his career as a food broker at ISM and also spent a short time working with Al Peake and Son'™s Produce. Danny loved the New York Yankees, the 49er'™s and New York Rangers Hockey. He never failed to lend a hand to any person or animal in need of rescue. Danny especially had a fondness for his two special cats, Big Boy and Jack. He loved telling stories and was always known to look on the bright side. Danny and his wife met at the young ages of 13 & 15 and have never been apart since! Danny is survived by his loving wife, Venetta 'œVeetsi'; siblings, Eleanor Bowden, Jeri Williams, Doug (Bess) Williams and Randy Williams; mother-in-law, Jackie Sorge; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken (Lori) Sorge, Renee Sorge, Larry (Mary) Parks; nieces and nephews, Sonia (Jamie) Cooper, Doug (Kim) Williams, Dana (Paul) Harmon, Little Randy Willams, Jill (Carlos) Caceres; great nieces and nephews, Ava , Mya, Brook, Paul, Christa, Jonathon; special friends, Connie and Jim Wilhite and Bob and Linda Adams; many more loving family and friends who loved him and he loved them. He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Donald Sorge; step-father-in-law, George Sorge. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 11:00 a.m. Private entombment will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Danny'™s honor are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio, the Toledo Area Humane Society or the Veteran'™s Administration in Ann Arbor.
