Darla Sue Sanders, 55, passed away on Thursday August 24, 2023. Darla was preceded in death by her mother, Martha. She is survived by her father, John (Kasia); sisters, Shelly (Brad) and Stephanie (Reza). She is also survived by her daughter, Autumn and grandchildren Ryleigh and Ryan, along with two nieces, and two nephews.

Darla worked as a Union Electrician, joining the Local 8 IBEW when she was just 19 years old. She was born in Ohio and spent her whole life in the Toledo area. Darla loved country music, hanging out with friends, and going to concerts. Darla loved her family very much and was fiercely protective of them, especially her daughter and grandchildren. She was just as protective of her Union family of brothers and sisters and made many, many friends in the last 35 years. Darla was the kind of person who would help anyone at any time, regardless of who they were. She was a beautiful soul who always did the best she could and did not judge. She will be greatly missed and was taken too soon.

A Celebration of Life honoring Darla will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 2-6:00 p.m. at the IBEW local 8 union hall located at 807 Lime City Rd, Rossford, OH 43460.
