Daryl L. Krause, 67, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Daryl was born on August 21 1946, to Howard and Marian (Parker) Krause. He was a graduate of Maumee High School and served in the US Air Force during Vietnam. On August 26, 1995, Daryl married Nancy Wyman. Daryl worked as a job setter with GM Powertrain for 30 years, retiring in 1998. He was a true outdoorsman; enjoying camping, shooting sports, and fishing on Lake Erie. His hobbies included vegetable gardening, woodworking, and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, Pittsburgh Steelers, and New York Yankees. Daryl is survived by his wife of 18 years, Nancy; children, Abagail Krause, Samier Wyman, Korrie (Sonya) Krause, and Nicole (John) Pupik; grandchildren, Johnny, Jordan, Kylee, Monica, Garrett, Jacob, and Damian; sisters, Darlene Fry, Joyce (Mike) Thieman, and Jennifer Krauss; along with many nieces, nephews, and loving family members. Daryl was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jim and Denny; along with his infant twin brother. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday, July 19th, 2014 from 9:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
