David Neil Blaksley, 52, of Northwood, OH passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2008 in his home. He was born on July 19, 1955 to Neil R. and Jeanne E. (Blausey) Blaksley. David was a 1973 graduate of Lake High School and attended the University of Toledo.  After graduation he was employed as a drill rig operator for Toledo Testing Laboratory.  David assisted in his father's engineering business, Blaksley & Associates.  In his spare time, he also helped his father in house construction. David was very interested in electronics, and he enjoyed his pipe and listening to his radio. David enjoyed spending time with his many nieces and nephews and with the family dog. He was a gentle, kind and loving son, brother and uncle. His wisdom and wit will be missed by all who knew him. We will always love him and he will remain forever in our hearts.  Surviving are his parents, Neil R. and Jeanne E. (Blausey) Blaksley; sisters, Debbie Nichols, Karen Blaksley, Cindy (Leon) Bekier, Jodi (Adam) Lesniewicz; 5 nieces and 7 nephews.   Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home Millbury Chapel 1111 Woodville Rd. Millbury, OH where visitation will begin at 11:00 am until services begin at 1 pm.  Interment in Lake Township Cemetery will be private.  The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Peter United Church of Christ.
