David C. Burlew, 57, of Toledo, OH passed away on July 4, 2005 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born on July 2, 1948 in Toledo to Robert and Dorothy (Ayers) Burlew. David worked as a parts manager/sales for several dealerships including Brondes Ford, Scott's Towing and Nollenberger Trucking Center. Mr. Burlew was an avid fisherman, spending many hours on Lake Erie with his father-in-law, Donald Mossing. Surviving are his daughters, Nicole (Jason) Siek and Allison (Michael) Scott; granddaughters, Kayla and Alyssa Siek and Amanda Scott; brother, Douglas (Linda); brother-in-law, James Lewis and special friend, Debbie Tomanski and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Tamara Lewis and brother, Robert. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 from 5-9 pm and Thursday from 2-9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at 7pm.
