David W. Crandall
David W. Crandall 60, of Millbury, Ohio passed away on Monday, November 29, 2004 in
his home surrounded by his loving family. David was born in Toledo on July 2, 1944 to
Richard and Mary Ellen (Grant ) Crandall. He was employed by the Sun Oil Company for
35 years before his retirement in 2003. Mr. Crandall was a veteran of the US Navy and
a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ. He was a member of the American Trap
Association and numerous conservation clubs in Northwest Ohio. David was also a
National Wing Shooting Instructor and a very avid sportsman, hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are his loving wife of 39 years, Betty (Hansen) Crandall , sons; Evan R.
(Kristy) and Aron L. (Joanie); grandchildren, Cameron David and Kaylee Louise;
step-mother, Helen Snyder; sisters, Rita (Len) Eckhart, Brooke (Joe) Stagner, Joy (Rich)
Drady; brother, Dale Crandall and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by
his parents and brother, Rex Harvey.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 from 2 until 9 pm in the
Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd.
Millbury, Ohio, where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am on Wednesday.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Peter UCC or Hospice of
Northwest Ohio.
