David A. Howald Sr., 59, of Toledo, Ohio passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Maumee, Ohio, on September 14, 1959 to Frank and Catherine (Bailey) Howald. After graduating high school, proudly served his country in the United States Army. On February 4, 1998 he married Brenda (Culp). He had various jobs, but most recently with PTI as a road driver. He was an extremely hard worker, enjoyed old time country music and classic rock. He enjoyed traveling, loved his 92' Cadillac, but what he cherished most was his family, especially his grandchildren. David is survived by his wife of 21 years, Brenda; children, Crystal Howald, Niki (Matt Torres) Williams, Crystal Westfall, David Howald II, Ryder Howald; 6 grandchildren; sister, Shar (Larry) Stanton; nephews, Tom (Cathy) Thorpe, Adam Simmonds; and brother and sister-in-law, Jerry (Rene) Culp. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister and 2 brothers. Services are pending at this time.
