David Lee Miner, 70, of Toledo, Ohio passed away March 7, 2012 at Sharon Regional Hospital. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 31, 1942 to Harold and Georgetta (Seldomridge) Miner. David was self employed in the remodeling business, and also owned the Woodville Sk8 Park. He was a member of East Toledo Baptist Church. Over the years, David was a friend and mentor to numerous kids.
Surviving are his sister, Dianne Burnette; nieces and nephews, Kathy (Sam) Steffen, Cary Burnette, Kris (Brian) Herbert; great nieces and nephews, Steven and Ashley Luce, C.J., and Zach Burnette, Will, Alex and Faith Steffen, Brendan Herbert; great great niece, Scout Szymanski; several cousins; Aunt, Carol (Len) Kane; uncle Carl (Alice) Koeniger; all his Sk8 Park friends and family; close friends, Marty and Raymond Fontaine, Josh Jarzynski and Nick Mullins. David was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Nancy.
Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Saturday, from 2-8 p.m. and Sunday from 3p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. Interment will be private in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in David'™s memory can be made to Woodville SK8 Park.
