David Michael Reimer, 44, of Woodville, Ohio, passed away March 24, 2026.
Born in Toledo, Ohio on July 15, 1981, David built a life centered on hard work, service, faith, and family. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and later continued his commitment to others as a volunteer firefighter. He was also a dedicated electrician with IBEW Local 8, taking great pride in his work and craftsmanship.
Outside of his profession, David found joy in hunting and fishing, but above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family.
David was a devoted husband to Amanda Reimer and a proud father to his children: Lillian and Emily Reimer; stepdaughters Emma and Abbey Bland, whom he raised as his own; and his son, Benjamin Michael Reimer. He is also survived by his father, Gary (Kelly) Reimer; his mother, Tina Kruger; his uncle, Edward Reimer; and his siblings, Michelle (Shawn) Douglas, Arden Reimer, Aimee (Eric) Halka, and Laura Reimer.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Helen (Jerry) Langschied and Bruce Reimer.
David courageously faced a battle with glioblastoma, a rapidly growing brain cancer, holding steadfast to his faith in God and maintaining a positive attitude throughout. He lived by his number one rule that "life's not fair," a reflection of his resilience and perspective in the face of life's challenges.
David will be remembered for his strength, his service to others, his unwavering love for his family, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home in Millbury, Ohio. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m.
