David W. Sampson, 79, of Toledo, OH passed away August 29, 2005 in Foundation Park Care Center. He was born in Lima, OH on October 28, 1925 to John and Estelle (Longsworth) Sampson. David was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during World War II. He was employed as a station manager for Bonded Oil Company, and was a member of the VFW and Calumet Masonic Lodge #612. Surviving are his wife, June; son, David (Elaine) Sampson; grandchildren, John (Mary) and Matt (Brenda) Sampson and 6 great grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, September 1, 2005 in Bluelick Cemetery, Lima, OH at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S.
