Michael D. Michael Schlabach, 61, of Toledo, OH, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008, at St. Vincent/Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Meadville, PA on August 9, 1946, to David and Lois (Miller) Schlabach. He graduated from Wauseon High School in 1964. Michael then attended Stautzenberger College where he earned an associates degree in business and then attended Davis College. He married the love of his life, Jean, in 1979 at First Alliance Church. Michael was a very creative and artistic person; he really loved people and enjoyed traveling and dining out. Mike was an active member of Hope Community Church, Oregon, OH. "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty" Psalm 91:1 Surviving is his loving wife, Jean; parents; brother, Joe (Carol); sisters, Donna (Conrad) Mast, and Beth Schlabach; nephews, Tim (Tonya), and Dan Schlabach; nieces, Katie, Anna, and Rachel Mast; great nephew, Caleb; aunts and uncles, and his beloved dogs, Raggs and Shaggs. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ira J. and Matilda Miller, and Elias and Minnie Schlabach and Beulah. Friends and family may visit at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Thursday, June 26, 2008 from 4 until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Pettisville Cemetery, Pettisville, OH at 2:30 p.m.
