David O. Weddle, 75, of Curtice, Ohio passed away on October 18, 2013 at Promedica Bay Park Hospital. He was born on July 9, 1938 in Woodsfield, Ohio to William and Dorcas (Febus) Weddle. David worked for Buckeye Pipeline for over 30 years before retiring in 1996. He enjoyed hunting for deer and turkey, woodworking and working in the garage. David loved family reunions and spent every summer weekend with his family playing volleyball or board games. He traveled throughout the states to visit his relatives. David is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; sons, Wayne (Beth) and Michael (Jill) Weddle; daughter, Carol (Bill Squire) Weddle; granddaughter, Ashley (Manuel Alvarez) Weddle; grandson, Nick Weddle; great-grandsons, Cody and Antonio Alvarez; siblings, Ray (Judy) Weddle, Jane Kenny, Mary Hines, Eleanor Day and Beryl Christman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Dorcas; 9 brothers and 1 sister. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd. on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Monday beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Williston Cemetery.
