Dawn S. Homer, 39 of Farmington Hills, MI passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. She was born in Southfield, MI on June 26, 1972 to Dennis A. and Diana (Cook) Lis. Dawn graduated from Farmington High School where she was active in cheerleading. She was employed as a medical biller with Haller, Hugg & Popp PC for 18 years. Memberships include the Board of Directors of the Farmington Rockets Football Program and the Groves-Walker American Legion Post #346 Auxiliary. Dawn enjoyed hanging out with family and friends along with watching her children excel in the sports that they played. She also was a football, basketball, soccer, golf, track and cheerleading Mom. Surviving are her children, Andrew D. Aitken, Alex C. Aitken and Kelsey N. Homer; parents, Dennis A. and Diana L. Lis; sisters, Denise M. (Steve) Janssen and Debbie A. (Steve) Agdorny; nieces, Ashley and Alisha Agdorny; special companion, Dan Bowen and many other friends and relatives. Visitation will be held at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, 23720 Farmington Rd. Farmington, MI on Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment will take in Glen Eden Cemetery.
