Deanna M. Etti ("Dee"), 75, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Born on May 26, 1951, at St. Charles Hospital, Dee was the daughter of Basil and Alta (White) Hetz. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Butch and Sonny; her sister, Jude; and her beloved "niecey," Sandi (Hartford) Wern.
Dee is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Robert Ettl; her four loving daughters, Tammy Dee, Cindi Lynn, Terra Lee, and Nikki DeAnn; her 12 cherished grandchildren, Dan, Kristi, Tiffani, Alex, Katie, Nicholas, Blake, Ayden, Tyler, Bryson, Kaylee, and Cole; and her eight treasured great-grandchildren, Eli, Taryn, Nathen, Jaxten, Kami, Kaitlin, Kera, Khloe, and many nieces and nephews.
Dee dedicated her life to her family and found her greatest joy in being a loving wife, devoted mother, and proud grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her beautiful and meticulous yard filled with vibrant flowers, her creativity in crafting, her love of baking, decorating, shooting pool, and especially for her homemade noodles that brought everyone together. She also cherished the neighbors who became lifelong friends over the years and was always ready to lend a helping hand-even mowing their lawns just to make life a little easier. More than anything, Dee was always looking for ways to brighten the lives of those around her through her kindness, generosity, and selfless heart.
Dee will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dee's life on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home in Oregon. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the memorial service honoring Dee begins at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a lung cancer research organization or a charity of your choice in Dee's memory.
