Obituary

Debby A. Stager of Oregon, Ohio passed away on April 26, 2008 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She was born on February 23, 1952, to Ludlow and Beverly Seaman. She graduated from Bowling Green State University and attended Toledo University where she obtained her Master's Degree. Debby taught at Arbor Hills (Sylvania City Schools) for thirty years. She was the first teacher in the Sylvania School system to be National Certified. Debby went on to be a mentor for those teachers seeking to be National Certified. Debby was the chair person for Oregon Relay for Life for nearly two years. Debby felt the love of family; friends; and the community to fight for the cure of cancer. Debby was dedicated to the community which she served.   She was also active with Oregon Clay Boosters and B.P.W. for many years. Debby loved her family and was proud of their achievements. She was a dedicated and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband,Rick. Blessed with her sons Eric (Nicole) and Ryan; sister, Denise Golden brother, Lud (Renee) Seaman; and her pride and joy, grandchildren Regan and Ethan. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 from 2-9 pm.  Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 am in Heritage Christian Church 1640 S. Coy Rd. Oregon, OH. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Debbys memory are asked to consider the Oregon Relay for Life c/o American Cancer Society 740 Commerce Suite B Perrysburg, OH 43551. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Manish Thusay MD, and her Oncologist Bahu Shaikh MD. Visitation: Wednesday 2-9 pm Services: Thursday 11:00 am
