Debra D. Hecklinger, 65, of Curtice, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Debbie was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 7, 1949 to Roy and Esther (Moritz) Ladd. On June 13, 1969, she married Robert Hecklinger Jr. Debbie worked as a senior accountant with Medical College of Ohio Hospital, retiring in 1999 after 18 years of service. She was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church where she was active in the Altar Guild. Her true passion was spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren who brought her much joy. Debbie is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert; children, Robert (Trina) Hecklinger III and Susan (Mark) Tilton; grandchildren, Chase, Olivia, Luke, Ava, Haley, and Hope; brother, Jeff (Debbie) Ladd; brother in law and sister-in-law, Richard (Cathy) Hecklinger; and sister-in-law, Sandra Hecklinger She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert (Elisabeth) Hecklinger; brother–in-law, James Hecklinger; and sister-in-law, Karen Predmore. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 11:00 am in First St. John Lutheran Church, 2471 Seaman Road, Toledo, where the family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 am.
