Debra S. Hubbard 51 of east Toledo, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2004 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. Debra was born in Toledo on December 31, 1952 to James Kent and Patty (Callahan) Akers. She was a graduate of Waite High School. On June 9, 1989 she married Ronald Hubbard. Debra had worked for the Bureau of Workman's Compensation for 11 years as a claims representative. In her spare time Debra enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, gardening, but her real love was spending time with her family. Debra is survived by her husband, Ronald; daughters, Jenny (Kurt) Bohland, Kathryn(James) Berry, Amy (Scott)Phillips, Monica (Dan)Canterbury, Debra (Brian)Begg; 2 grandsons and 7 granddaughters; brothers and sister, Mike Akers, Pat (Ralph) Shivley, John (Cindy)Akers, Jeff Akers. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Debra was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Rick Akers. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Friday from 1-9 p.m. and where funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM. Friends and family are welcome to a luncheon on Saturday at 12 noon at St. Louis Church 459 Sixth Street, Toledo.Memorial contributions in Debra's memory may be given to the Cancer Center of America.
