Delbert R. 'œWhitey' Collins, 68, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. He was born in Blakeley, West Virginia on July 8, 1942. Delbert was employed with Reiter Automotive for 30 years, retiring in 2003. He enjoyed fishing and playing pool. Delbert is survived by his loving companion Sharon Collins; children, Annette, Jodie, and William Collins, Delbert Chizmar; stepson, Todd (Jennifer) Krapp; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and brother-in-law, Ed Fox. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mabel O'™Brian; son, Donald Chizmar, and aunt, Vivian Purdy. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel on Monday, September 27th from 2:00 pm until time of Memorial Service at 5:00 pm.
