Delia "DeDe" Jane Hein Watts, 85, of Mt. Pleasant, NC, and formerly of Toledo, OH, passed away Monday, October 25, 2004, at Northeast Medical Center. Mrs. Watts was born on October 11, 1919, in Allen County, Indiana, to Frank J. and Ethel (Ewing) Hein. She owned and operated a gift shop in the Waldorf Hotel for 17 years along with a snack bar in the O.I. Building and Ohio Citizens Bank. DeDe was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters, Mary Louise Schroeder and Maxine Lentz. Surviving is her daughter, Debra L. (Tom) Robb of Mt. Pleasant, NC; grandchildren, Colleen, Keith, Sara and Rachel Robb; great-grandchild, Felicity Grannell. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2004, from 6-8 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home Friday at 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. Interment will take place in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
