Delores "Jean" Hunt, age 67, of Northport, Alabama, passed away peacefully at Hospice of West Alabama on Monday, July 17, 2017. She was born on September 12, 1949 to Ed and Mary Reynolds in Huntington, West Virginia. Jean enjoyed crocheting, crafting, baking, shopping with her daughter and cheering on Alabama Athletics. She loved spending time with family and friends. Jean will be missed deeply by those who knew and loved her so well. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hunt; son, Frankie Hunt, Jr.; brothers, Gary Reynolds and Tom Reynolds; sister, Sandy Koester and brother-in-law, Karl Koester. Jean is survived by her loving daughter, Donna Walker and son-in-law, Marty Walker; brothers, Robert (Phoebe) Reynolds, and Rev. Don (Brenda) Reynolds; sister-in-law, Nellie Reynolds; grandson, Francisco Torres-Hunt and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive guests on Friday, July 21, 2017, from 10:00am until 11:00am at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH, 43616. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Hospice of West Alabama.
