Dennis Paul Breno, 62, of Oregon, Ohio passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, August 4, 2007 in his home.  Dennis was born in Toledo on January 16, 1945 to Philip and Janet (Slifer) Breno.  Mr. Breno was employed at the Sunoco Toledo Refinery for 33 years before his retirement in 2000.  Previously he served as a Lieutenant on the Walbridge Police force.  Dennis was an avid fisherman, cook, golfer, gardener and enjoyed turkey hunting but his true love was spending time at home with his family. Denny was a very fun loving person who will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.   Surviving are his loving wife of 42 years, Nancy Annie daughter, Cheryl (Eric) Hunter; brother, Philip (Annette) Breno; sister, Darla (Bob) Witt; grandchildren, Danielle and Spencer along with many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.   Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in Dennis's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
