Dennis J. McGrew, 57, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away suddenly, Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Wood County Hospital. Dennis was born on October 11, 1954, in Oregon, Ohio to Robert W. and Mary J. (Hornyak) McGrew. He was a 1972 graduate of Macomber High School. On February 11, 1977, he married Mary Louise Shipper. Dennis was employed for many years as an electrical supervisor with North Star Steel, Slater Steel, National Standard, and Premier Power Maintenance. Dennis will be remembered for his strong work ethic and devotion to his children and grandchildren. Dennis is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary; children, Dennis McGrew, Joshua (Tamara) McGrew, and Nicholas McGrew; grandchildren, Gavin, Madison, and Gage McGrew; siblings, David (Kim) McGrew, John McGrew, Patty(Ed) Quist, and Linda (Mike) Toth, along with many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Monday, June 25th from 2:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 26th in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
