Dennis R. Purtee, 69, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016. Dennis was born in Oregon, Ohio on October 19, 1946 to Nelson and Delores (Thurman) Purtee. He served in the United States Air Force and went on to become a conductor for CSX Railroad. Dennis enjoyed playing pool and was a member of the Ottawa County Conservation Club. Dennis is survived by his wife, Arvella "Arvie"; son, Chris (Susan); grandchildren, Michel, Lillianna, Elora and Maverick; sister, Sandra Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Linda. Services will be private. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
