Derrick L. Legeza, II (Wahl), 1 year old, passed away unexpectedly on November 16, 2014. He was born on October 20, 2013 to Derrick Legeza and Danielle Blake. In his short life he touched many lives by greeting everyone with his unique smile, his contagious laugh and his love for food. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and will be forever in their hearts. Derrick is survived by his parents, Danielle and Derrick and Dominic and Nicole Wahl; siblings, Delicia, Onicia, Danielle, Tyleah, Tyniyah, Donevin, Janet, Toni, Dominic, Adriana, Maricia, Dominic Jr., Nevaeh; grandparents, Susan Wahl, Junior Blake and Tunchy Legeza, Cindy Moore and Dora Wahl; great-grandma, Susie O; numerous aunts and uncles, especially, Tía Tina and Tío Dave. He was preceded in death by Papa Gordo, Chino and Anita. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Adelbert'™s Catholic Church, 3233 Lagrange St., Toledo, on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. and where the family will greet visitors beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
