Devy A. Sharpe, 55, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on July 24, 2018. She was born in Monroe, MI, on February 5, 1963 to Dennis and Marylou (Shinevarre) Sharpe. Devy enjoyed playing bingo and loved over the top decorating for all of the holidays, especially Christmas. It seemed Devy had 100's of grandchildren because she was known as everyone's grandmother, even though she really only had 9. What she cherished most in life were her precious grandchildren who were the light of her life. She loved her family especially her mother who preceded her in death. She had a kind soul and is going to be deeply missed by all who knew her. Devy is survived by her daughters, Terry Matney, Brandi (Semaj) Curry; siblings, Steve Sharpe, Becky Runyon, Sharon Parker, Jay Miller; 9 grandchildren; furry companion, Zoey; and several nieces nephews and loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-dad, JT; brother, Charlie Sharpe; and son-in-law, Gary Matney. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd., on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions in Devy's name may be directed to the Family.
