Diane E. Gilbert, 69, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on March 26, 2013 in her home. She was born in Monroe, Michigan on June 16, 1943 to Albert and Virginia (Trouten) Calliari. Diane loved painting, playing computer games, and spending time with her family. She worked for D & S Hauling as an owner operator from 1986 until she retired in 2002. Surviving are her children, Anna (Phil), Anthony, Jean, and Dennis (Karen) Gilbert; brother, Bobby (Gwen) Pennock; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her extended family, Janet (Bob) DellaFlora, Gregory (Chrisine) Pettrey, Penelopi (Brian) Schrecongost, Jodi (Roger) Smieszek; granddaughter, Shelbi Smieszek; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; special friend and caregiver, Carolyn Dixon. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Thursday March 28th from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in LaSalle Cemetery. Visitation: 440 S. Coy Rd.
