Diane H. Trible, 50, of Northwood, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2004, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Diane was born on August 1, 1953, in Toledo to Bruce and Annabelle (Navarre) Harmon. She was a 1971 graduate of Woodward High School. Mrs. Trible was employed as a clerk at the U.S. Postal Services Main Office for 8 years, retiring in 2003. She had also been employed as a telephone operator for AT&T and dispatcher for the Evanville, IN, Police Department. Diane had a true love for animals especially dogs, Sam and Bob, and cat, Smokey. She was a member of the Lake Erie Hunting Retrievers Club, where she served as a judge for many of their competitions. She was an avid hunter and a member of the National Rifle Association, and was also an active member of the American Postal Workers Union. Her love for the outdoors was also seen in her plants and flowers but above all she loved just spending time with her sisters and brothers.
Surviving are her loving husband, Michael; step daughters, Misty Neville of Henderson, KY, Sheri (Carl) Marabello of Pittsburg, PA, and Michele (Dan) Sileo of Louisville, KY; sisters, Ruth (Morris) Patterson, Donna (Jack) Sigmond, Catherine (Thor) Bohland, Mary (Mike) Brown, Joanne (Mark) Hickerson, and Patty Harmon; brothers, Bruce (Vicky), Gary, Donald and John Harmon; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, where visitation will be Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemeter. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to either the Victory Center or the HRC Foundation.
