Dianne R. Tolnai, 79, formerly of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Mercy St. Anne Hospital. Dianne was born on April 10, 1937 in Bay City, Michigan to Arlan and Iola (Scott) Beebe. Dianne was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School and Riverside Hospital School of Nursing. On February 17, 1962 she married Frank Tolnai. For 40 years, Dianne was employed with Riverside Hospital as a registered nurse in the med-surg and obstetrics department, retiring as department supervisor in 1998. She was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Her hobbies included: crocheting lap blankets for area nursing homes, dancing, and telling a good joke. Dianne is survived by her children, Krisztina (Dan) Hanus and Steven Tolnai; grandchildren, Paul Hanus, Chadd Hanus, Alex Hanus, and Steven (Andrea) Tolnai; brothers, Dennis (Joann) Beebe, Joel (Bonnie) Beebe, and Rev. Barton (Cate) Beebe. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, David Tolnai; and sister, Brooke Biel. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 2:00 pm – 8:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 24, 2016 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
