Dixie L. Conine, 73, of Toledo, passed away on March 17, 2013 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Hardin County, Ohio on September 25, 1939 to Cloyd and Sadie (Risner) Fancher. Dixie worked as an office manager for Property and Management Connection Inc as well as being a bartender at the Oak St. Saloon for many years and as the secretary at East Christian Church for 10 years. She was a Helping Hands volunteer and a member of the East Christian Retiree'™s Club. Dixie was more a mother than a grandmother to her grandchildren. Dixie is survived by her children, Rick and Carla Conine; her grandchildren, Brittany, Courtney, Bobbie, Nikki, Cody, Zack, Chase and Jonathan; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Marlene (Dan) Cash and Claudette (Roger) Martin; brother, Gail (Theresa) Fancher. She was preceded in death by her parents; special friend, Bob Peace; sons, Timothy and Gerald Conine. Friends may visit at the Eggelston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Friday beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
