Leon R. Dobrolenski Jr., 42, of Oregon, Ohio passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. Leon was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 12, 1971 to Leon Dobrolenski and Diana (Marshall). He loved watching DVD movies with his precious cat Patches, collecting cars and rooting for his Michigan Wolverines. Leon was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and always looked forward to running errands with his aunt Marlene and uncle Rick. He always looked forward to Christmas and Easter and his aunts turkey and ham dinners. Leon will be greatly missed by his family and friends that loved him so much. We thank Jesus for giving him to our family.
Leon is survived by his mother, Diana Widmer; step-father, Walter 'œCork' Widmer; step-brother Dave; step-sister Tracy; uncle Rod Marshall; aunt Marlene (Rick) McGee; aunt Marilyn (Larry) Jaquillard; uncle Bill Dobrolenski; and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Dobrolenski; grandparents, Jack (Edna) Marshall; grandparents, Leo (Betty) Dobrolenski; and special cousin A.J. 'œAaron' Jaquillard.
Funeral services will be private. Eggleston-Meinert & Pavley Funeral Homes, Oregon Chapel is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial contributions be directed to mother for saving Patches and other homeless cats.
