Dolores Carlen, 84, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Orchard Villa. Dolores was born in Greenup, Illinois on March 3, 1929 to Earl and Beulah (Ware) Miller. After graduating High School, Dolores married the love of her life Clinton D. Carlen who preceded her in death. Dolores enjoyed cooking and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. It wouldn'™t be the same on Christmas if Dolores didn'™t make her famous cheeseball. Dolores is survived by her sons, Doug (Joyce) Carlen, James (Rita) Carlen; grandchildren, Jeremy Carlen, Ryan (JoAnn) Carlen, Jamie (Samantha Grigsby) Carlen, Rachael Carlen, Dawn (Mike) Burkett; great-grandchildren, Sidney, Jacob, Kennedy, and Olivia Carlen, Morgan and Michael Burkett; and sister, Pat Stumbaugh. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Brett Carlen; and grandson, Jacob Burnap. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S.
